The Sisters Folk Festival is a three-day celebration of American music, from blues to bluegrass. Many greats have graced the stage since the initial Festival in 1995, including, Ian Tyson, Natalie MacMaster, Chris Smither, Dave Carter, The Waybacks, John Gorka, Ruthie Foster and more.
The Festival is held the weekend after Labor Day every September in beautiful Sisters, Oregon. The Festival is home to five stages, with our main venue at the Village Green Park in downtown Sisters.
Located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range and the Three Sisters Wilderness Area, the community of Sisters, Oregon is a wonderful place to live and visit. Below are some links of interest for anyone who is thinking about coming out for the Festival.
The list of outdoor recreational opportunities in and around Sisters is endless, with mountains, rivers and lakes at your back door. Bike or horseback ride the many beautiful mountain trails, or golf at any number of first rate courses. From Portland:
Head south on I-5 toward Salem.
Take exit 253 onto Hwy 22 eastbound, toward Stayton/Detroit Lake.
Around 80 miles later, Hwy 22 becomes Hwy 20. Keep going straight on Hwy 20 toward Sisters.
Check out the gorgeous views for the next 26 miles or so, then, in Sisters, turn right on South Elm Street.
Head south two blocks, and you're here!
From Salem:

Get on Hwy 126 eastbound.
At the junction of 126/242 (about 50 miles out of town), stay on Hwy 126, and go north (trust us here; you'll add about 12 miles to your trip, but might save half a day).
At the 126/20 junction, keep going a few miles 'til you get to Santiam Junction.
Turn east on Hwy 20.
Check out the gorgeous views for the next 26 miles or so, then, in Sisters, turn right on South Elm Street.
Head south two blocks, and you're here!
From Bend:
Head north on Hwy 20.
In Sisters, turn left on South Elm Street (about the middle of town).
Two blocks later, you're here!
